Children’ meeting in Icheri Sheher

Today at the Museum of Miniature Book of Zarifa Salakhova we launched our children's information and creative meetings. In the gaming form the little Icheri Sheher residents will be weekly (within two months - from Friday to Sunday) acquainted with the problems of environmental protection, recycling and waste management, segregation of domestic waste, conservation of Natural Resources with the help of the "EkoSfera" experts and the project volunteers, as well as invited craftsmen and artists.
During the children's classes will be held a variety of competitive actions, after which the best participants of the program will be granted with the sign an "environmental green sign" for their home or yard.
Children's meetings are held within the project "Collection and separation of municipal solid waste (a pilot project in Icheri Sheher)." in partnership with "Tamiz Shahar" JSC. The project of "EkoSfera" is implemented within the framework of Civic Action for Security and Environment (CASE) Small Grants Programme administered by the OSCE Office in Baku and financed by Statoil and the Government of Austria.
