Within the Year of Ecology declared by the President of the Azerbaijan Republic our organization (having 10 years of experience in the sphere of public ecological movement) has developed a program for children and youth in 2010. This program envisages the involving of all children and school groups as well as the student youth to discussion and assessment of the environmental programs and projects in Azerbaijan 2010, to informational exchange and a number of independent events and activities. Within this program the Social - Ecological Center "EkoSfera" with the support of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Ecological Department of SOCAR and "Tamiz Shahar" institute the "Children and young people's public independent ecological award "Ekos".

This website was created within Environmental and Ethnographic Tourism Program for Children and Youth, project funded by the US Embassy, Democracy Commission Small Grant Program and EBRD BAS (Business Advisory Services) Programme.
