This Sunday "EkoSfera" took part on the Charitable Fair in hotel Hyatt Regency. "Ekosfera" acquainted all visitors with Pomegranate festival in Gala "Abşeron: Terra Granatum". Together with our partners - the manufacturer of pomegranate juice İNNABİ cannery factory from Balaken - we "created" pomegranate mood!

The "EkoSfera" for the first time initiated carrying out of Festival of a pomegranate on Absherone. Festival "Absheron: Terra Granatum" started on the territory of Ethno-ecological center and Qala Archeological Ethnographic Museum Complex with support of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Azerbaijan in partnership with "Tamiz Shahar" JSC, " Khazar" Development Fund, the Ecologic department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic and the manufacturer of juice " WELL" the canning factory in Balaken.

The Social-Ecological center "EkoSfera" participated in the international exhibition "Caspian: technologies for the environment (CTE-2011). The exhibition üas held by ITE Group plc and their partner in Caucasus Iteca Caspian in association with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Republic. This exhibition is one of the biggest event, which was held in near-Caspian and Caucasus region in Environmental protection sphere. Our organization presented stands of the Azerbaijan research-and-production organizations, working in ecological sphere and stand of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Azerbaijan.

On October 8-9,2011 the Social-Ecological Center "EkoSfera" and The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan in cooperation with the "Bioecology" department of "Ecology and soil science" faculty of the Baku State University held a theoretical and practical seminar on "National Parks in the XXI century: a contribution to sustainable development and conservation of biological and ethno-cultural diversity of Azerbaijan in the context of global change". This seminar was dedicated to the sixth of October - The World Protection Day of Habitats.

On the World Animal Day - the 4th of October - we decided to celebrate with our young friends. On this day, we collected gifts - "toy animals"- from schoolchildren of Eurolyceum and went to the Children's House №1. Thanks to everyone who pitched in and gave joy to the children.

This morning we had a team competition among the students from two schools in Gala. 30 of the most active young connoisseurs of "Segregation and separation collection of garbage" program conducted with "Tamiz Shahar" participated in a brain-ring. The first place took the team from school № 92.

On September 27, President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva were acquainted with the construction and creative work in the Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum Complex Gala in the Khazar region. The President was informed that, the Ethno-Ecological Youth Center for Children and Youth was created at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
